The Write In Ron Paul 2012 Campaign is dedicated to letting the GOP leadership and mainstream media know that there is a groundswell of people who refuse to compromise on our values, and that if Ron Paul is not on the ballot in November we will write in his name rather than "take one for the team" by casting a vote for one of the GOP big government puppets.

 

In addition to keeping a tally of the total pledges made, every pledge signed is instantly emailed to the Chairman of the RNC in your name, as well as a copy sent to the political pundits at CNN, Fox, NBC, ABC, and CBS.

 

 

Because we are sick and tired of the status quo. We are tired of the mainstream media and national parties dictating to us who we should support. We are tired of broken campaign promises and runaway big government that encroaches further every day upon our civil liberties. Mostly, we are tired of being lied to.

 

Because 4 years of Obama or 4 years of Romney means the same thing to us. We understand that Romney and Obama are simply two sides of the same coin. We are no longer fooled by the two party narrative and realize that no matter which candidate were to be elected, the status quo would remain.

 

Because 4 more years of Obama might be better than 8 years of Romney. We realize that it would be better to suffer through four more years of Obama and have the opportunity to elect a sane president in 2016 than to suffer through eight years of a GOP big government puppet in the white house. At least with Obama we would have another chance to make our voices heard in 2016. With a GOP puppet in office our voices would be effectively silenced until 2020.

 

Because we believe in the Constitution of this United States and refuse to compromise! We shall not compromise on our principles this time. We shall make the establishment stand up and take notice of us. Just as our founding fathers held fast against the tyranny of England, so we today must stand against the domestic tyranny we find has infected our once principled system of government.
